Welcome to the Gators, a members-only summer swim team open to youth between the ages of 5-18 years. The Gators are the perfect introduction to competitive swimming! This program focuses on the development of “legal” stroke technique with an emphasis on summer fun, team spirit, and positive reinforcement. 

Registration for the 2026 Season will look a little bit different than in years past. This year, everyone will register via SwimTopia instead of Club Automation. Your registration in SwimTopia will be "free." After registering in SwimTopia, Granite Falls Staff will go into Club Automation and bill your account that way. This change was made, as not everyone was getting team communication via Club Automation last year. When registration opens on April 26, a link will be sent out to register in SwimTopia.

The 2026 Summer Swim Season will be kicking off May 26, 2026 and running through mid-July. 

For our younger swimmers (ages 5-8): In order to participate, and in the interest of safety, swimmers must have confidently passed their Blue Band test before being permitted to join this year's team. Swimmers must have an understanding of freestyle and backstroke.  Please review the guidelines set forward in the Team Handbook.

Our goal is to create a safe and fun environment for our swimmers, while improving their swimming skills. We hope to see you all here with us this summer! 

All active Makos swimmers that would like to participate in Gators this summer will still need to be registered members at Granite Falls Swim and Athletic Club in order to be eligible to swim on Gators for the summer.
